Melanie Jette has been working in the field of social work for 15+ years, first as a case manager working with children, teens and families and eventually as a clinician to individuals, groups, and families, to include parenting education and coaching, and clinical work with children as young as 3 years old and adults of all ages. Her background includes providing home-based counseling, outreach to individuals struggling with homelessness, crisis interventions, inpatient psychiatric evaluation, and treatment. She considers herself to be a solution-focused therapist, who prioritizes the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change. Her areas of interest include supporting others in managing their depression, anxiety, substance use and recovery, trauma-related issues, family or relational issues, and other developmental challenges.
