Amy Kopczynski has over 15 years working as a therapist for adolescents, young adults, adults, parents, and families. She uses a variety of approaches in counseling including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, internal family system theory, and strength based therapy. Her specialties include mood and anxiety disorders, transitional issues/adjustment, and trauma. Her philosophy is to help clients explore ways to make the changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. She believes that we all need someone to talk with who will listen in a warm, nonjudgmental environment. She views counseling as a collaborative process designed to empower one to accomplish their mental health and wellness goals.
