Katy Foley has worked with youth, adults, and families for over the last 17 years. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues, complicated grief, and issues around gender identity. Katy has extensive experience in collaborating with the youth’s network and finding resources to best support the client in order for them to thrive and reach their potential. Katy has worked in residential settings, at schools, as a care manager, outpatient therapist, and has ran numerous therapeutic groups. Katy focuses on creating a safe and therapeutic relationship so that the client can work through challenges and barriers that have limited their happiness, exploring ways to help the individual reach their full potential.
Katy’s treatment approach is emotionally focused, client centered, and strengths based. Katy uses a variety of therapy modalities depending on the need of the client. Some of her treatment modalities are: cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic, and emotional focused therapy.
