MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Southern New Hampshire University
Nicole is a compassionate clinician who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families – often during some of the most difficult and overwhelming moments in their lives. Prior to joining MFCS,she served as an in-home family therapist, providing trauma-informed care to at-risk children and their caregivers.
Nicole has extensive experience helping individuals and families process and heal from multigenerational trauma and attachment wounds, while identifying and shifting maladaptive patterns. She supports clients – and when appropriate their families, in strengthening communication, deepening their connection, and engaging more authentically with one another.
Nicole utilizes a thoughtful and intentional approach, helping clients look beyond presenting concerns to explore and heal the underlying roots of their distress, while fostering a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where they feel seen, respected, and supported.
Her work is holistic and integrative, drawing from evidenced-based modalities including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework. She emphasizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.
Nicole recognizes each person’s capacity to find light, even in the darkest moments. At the core of her work is the belief that meaningful, lasting change comes from within. She supports clients in cultivating self-trust, nurturing self-compassion, and reconnecting with their sense of purpose to empower sustainable growth.
