Susan Crimmins has many years of experience working with children, teens, and adults, providing individual, couple, and family therapy. She has worked in hospitals, schools, and residential settings as a therapist and administrator, and has treated anxiety, mood disorders, schizophrenia, trauma, substance abuse, behavioral issues, women’s issues, and life stressors. Her approach to therapy is always person-centered, emphasizing strengths, recovery, and personal goals. She works on building a trusting, honest, and collaborative relationship, principles she strongly values in her practice. She uses a variety of therapies to address different issues, including psychodynamic, mind-body and cognitive-behavioral therapies, insight, meditation, and dialectical behavior therapy. She believes that each individual client has unique needs and thus requires a unique path to greater happiness and fulfillment in life.
